    From The Ground Up

Watch the construction of a log home from beginning to end

We hope that you find this section of our website both informative and educational. Often, people embarking on the adventure of building their own log home have no idea of the stages involved, and are sometimes a bit daunted by the magnitude of the project that lies before them. There are many steps involved, from land selection to building inspection, and each step carries with it it's own challenges and rewards.

We have organized the picture tour into a week-by-week account of the construction, showing the prograss being made in all of the elements that make up this luxurious log home. We have also included a few words about each section in order to better explain what is going on. Just click on the picture next to each section heading to go to that page.

So grab a cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable chair, stretch your mouse hand, and settle in for a look at a log home being created from start to finish.....
